In fifth grade, as a new student to the school, with no name ID, Lane ran for student body president and won, learning the value of a well-run grassroots program. It was at an election night watch party in high school where Lane decided she wanted a career shepherding Republican candidates into public service. Lane began to gain experience during her undergraduate studies, volunteering for George W. Bush’s presidential campaign and interning for Senator Christopher “Kit” Bond.

Lane accepted her first job with Senator Bond in his St. Louis District Office following graduation. Her first campaign role was for the Republican National Committee’s Victory program for the McCain/Palin ticket as Field Director for the St. Louis region. Lane recruited and managed thousands of volunteers and consistently lead the state in volunteer recruitment and voter contacts. After delivering Missouri as the only battleground state to go red, Lane briefly returned to the Senate before accepting the role as Deputy Political Director for Senator Blunt’s landslide Senate campaign. After assisting with the transition of senators, Lane joined Pelopidas, LLC as Political Director where she managed grassroots efforts for the firm’s initiative petition campaigns.

After working to successfully secure the Missouri caucus slate for Mitt Romney, Lane accepted the role of Executive Director for the RNC’s Victory program in Missouri, where she managed all voter contact for the state, oversaw all statewide victory staff and worked closely with all down-ballot candidates to aid in their grassroots efforts. Again, delivering Missouri as the only target state Republicans won that cycle at the Presidential level. Lane then returned to the Senate as Small Business Liaison for Senator Roy Blunt, building a coalition of thousands of small business owners.

Lane joined Vanguard Field Strategies in the company’s founding election year, co-managing over 30 field programs in more than 20 states and was instrumental in the hiring of nearly 1,000 political operatives. Lane graduated from Taylor University with a degree in Political Science, has attended the RNC’s campaign management schools, and is currently studying to receive her Masters in Political Management from The George Washington University. Lane calls St. Louis, Missouri home.
